Angie Cheung

Growing up in Hong Kong, living  in a standardised flat with inflexible spaces made me question whether a home is merely a container for living or something that can adapt and grow with its residents. Driven by my interest in how space creates experience and influences human interaction, I am currently a first-year Architecture student at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.

My background in fine arts and design research deeply informs my practice, giving me a strong appreciation for spatial composition, material exploration and conceptual thinking. Through my architectural studies, I aim to translate my creativity into thoughtful, innovative and site-specific design solutions. 

I am deeply fascinated by the multidisciplinary nature of architecture specifically – how it interacts with fields like anthropology, historic preservation and generative design. This curiosity drives me to explore how architecture can cross traditional boundaries to solve complex challenges of our built environment.
